Jannie Nero Receives Regions Bank's Top Associate Honor
2008 JUN 23 - (VerticalNews.com) -- Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE: RF) announced that Jannie Nero, assistant vice president and assistant branch manager in Bellevue, Tenn., a suburb of Nashville, was the June recipient of the Better Life Award. The Better Life Award is the top award given to associates at Regions for outstanding dedication and job performance, as well as exemplary involvement and commitment to the community. Nero was recognized for her outstanding commitment to customer service. She is also noted as being an exceptional leader at Regions. Nero, 58, holds a bachelor's degree from Tennessee State University. She joined Regions in 1974. The 34-year banking veteran has worked in various areas of the bank, including a branch office that attained the company's elite Chairman's Club for excellence in sales and service. Nero is actively involved in many community organizations. She has served on the board of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, Northwest Nashville Civic Association and the Tennessee State University National Alumni Association.
